The property is located in the insurance quarter of the City of London, approximately a 2 minute walk to Monument Station and approximately 5 minutes from both Bank and Fenchurch Street Stations.
Tellon Capital comprehensively refurbished and extended the building to create over 36,000sqft of high quality, modern self contained offices over 7 floors including a ground floor and basement leisure unit. As part of the refurbishment the reception area was reimagined to create a hospitality style light and welcoming entrance to the building and an extended roof terrace was added giving panoramic views over London.
Practical Completion was achieved in June 2021 and the building is now fully let. We’re pleased to have secured a mixture of great office tenants. We worked jointly with some of the tenants to transform the CAT A floors into bespoke fit outs which is a great example of working collaboratively to create dynamic and functional work spaces. We’re also pleased to have a strong leisure offering as we retained Dirty Martini in part of the lower ground floor who remained in occupation during the refurbishment and we also have The Alchemist who are occupying the ground and lower ground floor with their immersive and exciting hospitality experience.
16 Eastcheap is a great example of old world meeting new world, office spaces may be used differently post Covid but tenants still want high quality office space in the right locations, which is demonstrated perfectly by the diverse range of tenants we have attracted from a historic Livery company to an international payments & foreign exchange company.
