<p>We&#8217;re excited to have reached a major milestone at 40 Broadway &#8211; topping out. To mark the occasion a ceremony was held on the buildings highest point with guests enjoying panoramic views of London&#8217;s iconic landmarks including St James&#8217;s Park, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. </p>
<p>There were speeches from Graham Sturge, CEO, and Ian Hopkinson, Executive Director, of RED Construction and from James Burchell, Co-Founder and Partner at Tellon Capital. The final part of the ceremony involved the traditional concrete pour and ceremonial steel signing by all of the attendees. </p>

<p>Tellon Capital has appointed RED Construction Group to deliver £200M GDV Westminster office development. <br /><br />&#8211; Landmark office scheme will deliver 130,000sqft of wellbeing-led Grade A office space in the heart of Westminster<br />&#8211; On completion the scheme is set to achieve WELL Platinum and BREEAM Excellent<br />&#8211; RED Construction Group to commence a £50m project as part of the wider redevelopment in summer 2024, with completion estimated by Q4 2025.<br /><br />The scheme will create a high-quality, wellbeing-led office building within the heart of Westminster. Spanning more than 130,000sqft GIA, works on the landmark scheme will be carried out by RED Construction’s London team.<br /><br />The redevelopment will offer a variety of Grade A office space from the basement to the eighth floor, together with a ground floor café, roof terraces on the majority of floors, and a communal roof terrace with exceptional views across St James’s Park, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. The vision aims to maximise building performance and wellness for occupants and will achieve WELL Platinum and BREEAM Excellent ratings.<br /><br />Situated within the Broadway and Christchurch Gardens Conservation Area, the design of 40 Broadway has been sensitively considered to seamlessly sit within its surroundings. RED Construction Group’s London team will deliver the works, and will erect a steel frame from the ground to eighth floor and create a natural stone façade on the Broadway elevation with projecting full-length feature windows. In keeping with the appearance of the neighbouring Grade II listed buildings, the rear of the building features traditional brick work and a metal clad mansard from the fifth floor to the roof.<br /><br />With Tellon Capital’s successful track record of delivering exceptional developments that respond to and enhance the local character, 40 Broadway will encourage innovative and collaborative working, with offices enhanced by landscaped outdoor terraces.<br /><br />James Burchell, Founder of Tellon Capital, added: “We are pleased to announce the appointment of RED Construction Group for 40 Broadway, allowing us to commence construction of this landmark new building for Westminster.  We are thrilled to be delivering a high-quality office development that sets an example for a high-performing building whilst considering the sensitive local context. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Such a huge achievement yesterday, finally breaking ground on the Bargate Scheme in Southampton.</p>
<p>When we first walked around the site seven years ago, none of us thought it would take this long to get here but COVID and the changing world of student accommodation, hospitality and retail has led us to today. A scheme which promises 520 brand new build to rent residential units with 30,000 square feet of ground floor commercial accommodation exposing the old walls and creating a vibrancy not seen in the city for many years. It has been quite a journey.</p>

A scheme which will leave its legacy here in the city centre.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Tellon and Legal &amp; General complete funding to enable Bargate Quarter regeneration in Southampton</p>
<p>We at Tellon are delighted to announce Legal &amp; General, have completed the funding of the Bargate Quarter, the £132m scheme in Southampton, with regeneration works starting immediately.<br />
The transaction is on a forward funding basis to one of Europe’s largest asset managers, Legal &amp; General Investment Management (LGIM) on behalf of its Legal &amp; General Retirement (LGR) business .<br />
Construction is now underway on the town centre regeneration of Bargate Quarter .The scheme will comprise of 519 new homes providing a mix of studios, 1, 2 &amp; 3 bed units along with 2,515sqm of ground floor commercial space. The 5 acre development will be centred around the historic old town walls. Our development will seek to improve the setting of The Bargate and City Walls and provide retail units along with much-needed new housing in a highly sustainable location. Crucially, our scheme also responds to the changing world created by the pandemic, to ensure we have a scheme that respects the past is fit for the future and support the city’s regeneration plans.Building has commenced and we expect the site to be completed late 2024/ early 2025.</p>
